  1. Dandora phase 2 plot 4743 is running on water connection without meter for over 5 years. this is a 5storrey building with about 50 tenants. this pipe has no tap and runs free for 24/7. can something be done by nairobi water to control this free water?

    1. 250 can't be right. Are you sure you get your water from NWSC? You need to confirm because private companies with boreholes are the ones who charge water that high.

  12. I have had my water disconnected for about three weeks now even after paying for reconnection on 15th January. Called my branch that weas supposed to do reconnection to no success. Followed up with their customer care to no success. i have wasted so much credit to follow up on this, but it seems i just wasted money.

  20. I am a resident a with A/C 1321867 in Kahawa Sukari Estate.
    I paid my bill of ksh.1,200/= on 9/2/2016 via online Solo payment system under transaction No. 104728580. The payment was not reflected since the water was disconnected due to the said amount. I presented my case to your offices in Town and the complaint was by Joyce Nyambura( Majiinvoice Ticket No:2RP160222HQ15). She accepted the mistake and informed me that it was one among many the are going to work on. She said the issue will be actioned on and sent me to Nairobi North office for the water to be reconnected. A lady by the name of Rose was given the task to reconnect.
    A another bill was sent with the said paid amount not credited to my account and a fee of reconnection. I complained on the same and Nairobi North staff indicated they are going to remove these wrongly debited amount. Up to date the same have not affected even after going to your offices more than 4 times.
    Today,your staff went to my residence and said we have not been paying the bills.
    When explained the whole issue, he refused to understand even after being shown the communication on the complaint about the wrong bill. He threatened my daughter that he must be allowed to disconnect the water other wise he is going to report that she is rude.
    For heavenly sake,
    1. can this mess in sorted out since the mistake is on Nairobi water.
    2. Can you teach your field staff some P.Rs so that they be consulting your offices in such case.

    What seems to be the issue and I have been receiving bills from the same AC no.
    I ddnt want to be disconnected so iestimated my bill and paid my bill and i was deducted from my Mpesa account and now, the reply message till said the account is in valid.

  33. Complaint letter regarding lack of water supply.

    Dear Nairobi Water,

    Respected Sir /Madam,

    We are totally five hundred families residing in our locality Old Racecourse ph.2. We are facing a severe problem of growing instances of insufficient water supply for the last one week in our locality. We are aware of the rationing program that we would be affected from SAT 8.30AM to MON 8.30AM.

    We have not received a drop in nearly all the households and water vendors are charging crazy prices. We feel that maybe the water vendors have closed the main tap leading to our estate (Old Racecourse) so that they make a boom. Because of the lack of supply of water, there is a growing instance of disputes among residents.

    We have already given many complaints to our Northern Regional office in Pangani Showbe Plaza. They are always giving us empty promises and doing nothing. Kindly we are requesting you the main office to look into this matter personally.

A4-233 at Kayole has had interrupted water for too long and there are Nairobi Water Services staff who are involved in illegally dis connecting my water expecting to be paid to reconnect it. Some times they illegally redirect my water to other consumers. How else do you reconcile the fact that my neighboring houses have always have water which is being sold to my tenant

    I pay my water bills promptly and I don’t see why I should be punished by being denied water supply which I have always paid.
    Kindly Intervene and discipline your staff who are messing with my water supply. I expect your response soonest because currently there is no water in the house

Am in Kasarani Sports Kenya estate,I paid several visits to nwsc pangani office asking them to follow their money totalling to over 38K from a serving civil servant who was occupying the house before me. I further requested for change of water metre. I provided them with his cellphone number called him and they had a chat with NWSC. Before then I had made a payment of 5K .As a true Kenyan i feel that NWSC should move ahead and get their dues from their former client. I would appreciate to know as to why they have disconnected my water metre despite being gracious enough in providing them with the details and current station of their former employee. Kindly urgently assist.
