Kenyatta national hospital is the biggest public hospital in Kenya. Established in the level 6 hospital’s role was to fulfill the role of being a National Referral and Teaching Hospital, as well as to provide medical research environment.

Being 114 years means that Kenyatta National Hospital is the oldest and only national hospital in the country. It has a capacity of 1800 beds and over 6000
staff members. Covering an area of 45.7 hectares, the hospital hosts the University of
Nairobi Medical School, and several government agencies on
the campus.
