Let’s now talk about mother nature’s gift to humanity; the banana. Rich in Potassium, Magnesium and Vitamin A, bananas are good at nourishing and moisturizing the skin leaving it supple, hydrated and beautiful. The potassium promotes the growth of new cells; Magnesium is essential when it comes to slowing down the aging process of the skin; while vitamin A protects the skin from free radical damage in addition to speeding up the cell renewal process .

Bananas are also very rich in antioxidants which remove toxins from the body thus preventing and healing of conditions such as acne. It’s antibacterial properties on the other hand help in clearing blemishes, scars and black spots.
