Mobile banking is probably the most convenient invention since microwave. With Mpesa, you no longer need to visit your bank physically to deposit your money. You can easily do this in your house, car or office through your phone if you have the Equity Paybill Number. Here is how you deposit money from Mpesa to your Equity bank account:

1. Go to Mpesa menu in your phone and choose ‘Pay Bill’
2. Key in the Equity bank paybill number which is 247 247
3. Key in your Equity bank account number or the number of the account you wish to transfer the Mpesa cash to
4. Key in the amount you wish to transfer
5.Key in your M-Pesa PIN
6. Check again to ensure that you have input the correct information; this is probably the most important step
7. Click Ok and wait for a confirmation message.
