The fifth month was very hard on this mom. I suddenly developed pregnancy related pelvic girdle pain (PGP) and for weeks I had terrible pains in my pelvic joints. I could not exercise and at times I could not even walk without limping.
It was a little scary and I often wondered how I would survive the third trimester seeing that I felt so sick and I’m not even that far along.
I have since stated taking calcium supplements and they are helping a lot. 12 days later and the pain is barely there. I have even started exercising in the morning. But just for like 3 minutes. Better a little workout than no workout at all, right?
