| Measles vaccination |
Two children, both aged 9 months died yesterday after receiving their measles jab. 7 others are reported to be in critical conditions following the botched vaccination.
The routine immunization exercise targeting children younger than 5 years has since been suspended in the county until the cause of the deaths can be established.
The bodies of the deceased have been transferred to the Iten County Referral Hospital mortuary for post-Morten examination to establish whether the problem was the vaccines or the mode of administration.
